Cicada small bowls
I created this series inspired by the rare occurrence of a ‘double brood’ emergence of the Cicada XIII and XIX. The 13 year and 17 years brood cycles sync up only every 221 years making this year a special happening. Cicadas are known for their interesting life cycles; mostly existing in hibernation underground for years and emerging in hoards to live a very short life but providing a huge abundance of nutrients into the ecosystem.
In my signature colour pallet of rich and rustic bronzy browns, ochres, rusty reds, and brilliant blues; these small bowls are great for yogurt and granola, perfect size for salsa and sour cream, a lovely snack sized bowl, sold separately or as a pair (be sure to select 1 or 2) They are dishwasher and microwave safe.
